Clip ‘n Climb Crawley is now accredited by the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS) to deliver their NICAS Clip Award. Designed for children aged 6+, both NICAS CLIP Foundation and NICAS CLIP Advanced courses are available with the aim to:
• Introduce safe climbing to those who are new to the indoor climbing environment
• Develop their awareness of climbing movements
• Improve confidence
• Create a pathway towards additional climbing activities
NICAS Clip is a nationally recognised accreditation and climbing award. All children who start their NICAS journey with us will receive their own logbook and have a dedicated candidate number and an instructor will update the logbook on a weekly basis.
Parents and guardians can gain access to the NICAS portal, where they can track progress, read more information from NICAS and even download certificates.
Before progressing to NICAS Clip Advanced, participants must fully complete NICAS Clip Foundation.
Introduction to NICAS
For children aged 4-6, we have a separate program known as Introduction to NICAS. This is a great opportunity for the younger climbers to begin their NICAS journey.
Session Timetable
Our NICAS sessions run on selected Wednesdays during term-time only, each weekly session will last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
The exact dates and times can be found below, participants must attend the full 5 week course to receive their certificate, we are unable to change/switch dates if a session is missed.
